Domain Names Week at LAC brings together professionals from technical, political and business areas interested in debating topics related to the Domain Name System (DNS). This week will also offer opportunities to network with industry leaders and experts.
The event is open to anyone interested in topics related to the domain name industry and business opportunities. The target audience includes:
Networking with other stakeholders and industry experts.
Discuss the commercial, technical and political aspects of the sector.
Learn new approaches to establishing and expanding an online presence.
The DNS Hackathon is a unique opportunity for participants to enhance their skills and collaborate in solving operational challenges related to the Domain Name System (DNS). Throughout the week, participants, individually or in groups, will tackle a series of practical tasks encompassing the configuration of recursive and authoritative DNS servers, DNSSEC implementation, and Universal Acceptance testing. The goal is to foster learning, knowledge exchange, and hands-on experience in a collaborative environment, with the support of subject matter experts. It's not necessary to complete all levels, the important thing is to participate, learn, and contribute to strengthening the DNS ecosystem in the region!
